Day 1 | Wuyi Road · Juzizhou · Xiangjiang Night Cruise

As the plane touched down in Changsha on December 27, excitement filled the air – our much-anticipated three-day team-building trip had begun! After a delicious lunch, we hit the lively Wuyi Road Pedestrian Street, diving headfirst into the bustling vibe of the city. Street performers, local delicacies, and the hum of city life set the tone for the adventure ahead.

Later, we walked through the iconic Juzizhoutou, feeling the weight of history and revolution in the verses of great poets. As night fell, the team boarded the Xiangjiang River Cruise, where Changsha’s skyline dazzled us. The city lights danced on the water, bridges shimmered, and the calm river breeze wrapped around us – an evening to remember!

Day 2 | Shaoshan · Dripping Cave · Liu Shaoqi’s Former Residence

Day two took us on a deeper dive into history as we traveled to Shaoshan, where we honored Chairman Mao by visiting his bronze statue and childhood home. The sense of legacy was palpable. Our next stop was the peaceful Dripping Cave, a serene pocket of nature where time seemed to pause.

In the afternoon, we explored Liu Shaoqi’s Former Residence, tracing the life and contributions of another monumental figure. Every corner held a piece of history, enriching our understanding and admiration for the great leaders of the past.

Our final day began with a visit to the Hunan Provincial Museum, where we immersed ourselves in the wonders of the Mawangdui Han Tomb. The intricate artifacts and ancient relics reminded us of China’s rich cultural heritage.

The journey continued at the historic Yuelu Academy, where we felt the pulse of a thousand years of learning and innovation. We capped off the trip with a scenic hike up Yuelu Mountain.
